Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical brings all the beloved characters from the film to life on stage in a fairy tale adventure packed with humour, heart and plenty of larger-than-life characters.
“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” and so begins the story of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who is not quite as keen on being rescued as expected.
Along the way, audiences will meet a short-tempered villain, a cookie with attitude and a whole host of fairy tale misfits, all coming together in a magical, funny and feel-good musical that proves there is more to the story than meets the ears.
